God Bless you people of God
God is good. I know we can eat now but do your best to not to over eat since you have been fasting
This weeks goals is to remember 1 proverb per day. Memorize 1 proverb (1 verse) per day. You can take from any of the proverbs we have already read
Reminder: Read proverb 22
Focus Text:
17 Pay attention and listen to the sayings of the wise;
apply your heart to what I teach,
18 for it is pleasing when you keep them in your heart
and have all of them ready on your lips.
19 So that your trust may be in the LORD,
I teach you today, even you.
Reflection: This journey has been wonderful and many great things have come as a result. Some of us have tried and not been as successful as we would have like but have decided to continue. Some have been on the ball and found that God is giving them more than they can handle. Some have not tried at all and have plans to try again. Some of us have not read the bible this much ever. Either way we are learning and engaging God word.
One this is important. We need to try to commit some, if not all, of these things to memory. Our text encourages us to have these teachings ready on our lips. In order to do that we have to memorize, meditate, and apply these proverbs in our everyday lives. Memorizing allows us to fellowship and meditate while we are on the move. You might be riding a bus and your phone might not have any power. This would be an opportune time to try to memorize a proverb.
Don't do this for any other reason except to be obedient. There is nothing like having God's word on your lips so that when the time comes you will have the ability to speak into your and anyone else's situation.
Lets us commit these sayings and lesson to memory.
God Bless
